Banyan Elementary School is committed to providing an exciting, rigorous, standards-based educational program that meets the needs of all its students. Our program, which serves children from Kindergarten through grade five, provides exposure to the fine arts and integrates technology into the learning process. Our school has a long tradition of high academic achievement for which it has earned the designation as a California Distinguished School.
Banyan has strong community support through the active involvement of the Parent-Teacher Association and the School Site Council. Banyan parents are actively supportive of the students, staff and the instructional program. Parent support has made it possible to expand the educational opportunities available to our students.
Caring and highly trained staff ensure that each Banyan student grows academically in an appropriate and supportive environment. Staff welcomes the high level of community participation in the school as we work together to achieve the highest levels of student success.
