STAR TESTING Be sure your kids get plenty of sleep, eat a good breakfast, and come to school on time so they can do their best!

May 10th Mother's Day Celebration
The whole famly is invited to come and celebrate mom's special day. There will be a Mariachi Band, student performances, and ballet folklorico dancers. Mom will enjoy free family photos, free flowers and delicious desserts. The fun starts here at Glenwood at 6:00p.m. Admission is free, so don't miss this chance to honor your mom.

SUPER STAR SUMMER CAMPS
AT GLENWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Glenwood Elementary School is proud to be hosting the SUPER STAR SUMMER CAMPS. Students who participate will enjoy a variety of fun activities and learning experiences. Camp runs June 17th through July 19th; from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended hours are available for an additional fee. Camp activities will include games, arts and crafts, music, water days, and special activities such as skateboarding, and dance. SUPER STAR CAMP encourages creativity, innovation, and exploration. This is the most affordable summer camp available. Don't miss a chance to attend and make summer memories.
Glenwood students can get their applications in the school office and return them to the STAR office on our campus. You can also apply online.

In addition to the Super Star Camp, STAR is offering specialized classes that run one week at a time. Students can sign up for Lego Design, Everything Art, Soccer Camp, Glee Club, Chemistry, and Culinary Arts, just to name a few. These classes can be purchased separately or in combination. HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS ?

Glenwood has a fabulous T.V. news station ! If students want to know what's happening at school, they can tune in to GNN, the Glenwood News Network. Each week 4th and 5th grade students collaborate to bring interesting news stories and important updates to each classroom. Under the guidance of Mrs. MacDonald, and Mrs.Gibson, students write, direct, produce, and report the news. Our episodes showcase the events and activities that make Glenwood great! We stay up-to-date with GNN.
