News from the Computer Lab

We are having fun learning about our new computers in the Aspen Computer Lab!

We welcome Mrs. Saari to the Lab.  Mrs. Saari will be teaching classes on Wednesday.

Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students continue to practice their typing skills using our program Type to Learn 3.  Our 4th and 5th grade students have created powerpoint presentations and have made calendars and tables in microsoft word.  We recently completed color wheel charts.

The Junior K students are doing a wonderful job with Everyday Math Games and Starfall. We have also explored PBS Kids.

First Grade students have learned all the Everyday Math Games and continue to practice using two hands on the keyboard - right hand on the right side and left hand on the left side!

Second Grade Students will begin learning their ten typing fingers - we will be using a website called Dance Mat Typing.

The lab can always use donations of paper, tissues and cleaning wipes!  Thank you!
