Opportunities for Parental Involvement (School Year 2012–13)
The parents of Cypress Elementary are actively involved in the school program in a number of ways. Many families participate in the school's Booster Association. Through a committee system, parents volunteer in support of school activities, fundraising, family nights, help in the classrooms, or the library, and other areas that foster students' learning. In addition, parents are representatives on our School Site Council which helps to establish our school vision, oversees the annual site plan and monitors budgets.
