Title I    

Walnut is one of eight CVUSD elementary school that receives Federal Title I funds to improve the educational opportunities of students to perform to grade level proficiency. Based on individual scores, approximately 20% of our students qualify for the extra support provided by Title I math and reading teachers. Parent permission is required for participation in the Title I Program.
